Stories
I've had a number of stories published in anthologies and magazines, ranging from fantasy and horror to literary fiction:
Nelson's Blood, is reprinted in Flotation Device, a charity anthology supporting The Trussell Trust, Medecins Sans Frontieres, and Simon Community Scotland, put together by the GSFWC.
The Marquis of Alcatraz is published in the GSFWC's 30th anniversary anthology, Thirty Years of Rain, edited by Neil Williamson, Elaine Gallagher and Cameron Johnston. A mysterious Dumas novel becomes a gift more trouble than it's worth.
The Tarantata appears in Creeping Crawlers, edited by Allen Ashley, from Shadow Publishing. A holiday romance leads to summer horror.
Stone is included in Allen Ashley's anthology Sensorama, available from Eibonvale Press. Some artists see more inside marble than others.
Starfire can be found in the punkPunk! anthology, from Doghorn Publishing, edited by Andrew Hook. With the birth of punk, even magick must kick free of the crust of ages.
Bitter Curaçao is in the first issue of Hellfire Crossroads, now available from Amazon. Acquiring the right perfume can become an obsession.
The Minotaur of Pollokshields, published in Gutter 05, explores the unusual things you find on the way to the bin sheds.
Primero appears in the Robots Beyond anthology from Permuted Press and available from Amazon. We meet Dee, John Dee, the original 007 and learn the real robota-related reasons behind his expulsion from Prague.
Nelson's Blood, was published in New Writing Scotland 26 from the Association of Scottish Literary Studies and can be found on Amazon. It's a tale of video pirates and the effects of an unusual brew.
